RENARD Emmanuelle, painting

I am looking for the invisible path... To reach the invisible reality of the things behind the apparent reality. Visible and invisible are two substances that communicate with each other.

Emmanuelle Renard

Biography

Born in 1963, Emmanuelle Renard lives and works in Paris.

Painter, draftswoman, engraver, ceramist, she has been exhibiting since 1986, in France and abroad: Paris, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, London, Brussels, Copenhagen, Geneva, Basel, Stockholm, Chicago, Los Angeles, Beirut?

To qualify his painting, one could speak of surrealist expressionism, or the opposite. For it is a strong, powerful, very expressive painting, where objects seem to come to life, where the characters are strange, the scenes improbable and the colors frank. If we had to give it ancestors, we would gladly cite the Baroque artists, and then Goya, Soutine, Chagall, Rebeyrolle.

Emmanuelle Renard is a major figurative artist of today's French panorama, who for thirty years has seduced many collectors in France and abroad.
