CHAMPY SCHOTT Nani, ceramic, permanent artist of Galerie Capazza since 2007

Nani Champy-Schott, expertise « raku »

“Through successive phases, the abundance of forms unfolds under the hand of the artist as a field of rare plants in the hand of a gardener. The discovery of this vast universe that combines essential forms in perfect harmony with the colors and textures gives us a moment of intense contemplation, where time seems to stop. Our eyes can long walk on the surface, reflecting the movements of the artist and also tracks image that we can find in nature.

The subtle way of crazing, witness the mastery of quick gesture that dose accurately cooling the room, conjures up visions of dried mud. And our hands feel the touch feel of animal skin.

For us to explore this new world to discover unexpected volumes with their rich enamel and follow the mazes of cracks, to find the raku mind”.
