COVILLE Jacky, sculpture, permanent artist of Galerie Capazza since 1981

“It is said that my work seems singular and distances itself " in any case from the current trend by its provocative aspect as well in the forms as in the primary, violent and lively colors.

My sources of inspiration are the characters and the often hybrid animals, turned in mockery for the right-thinking world.

The playful side of my work contrasts with the serious structured forms, especially in the monumental works (up to 7 meters height). The volumes in the space are deconstructed then reconstructed in a cubic rigorous mixture melt with freedom. The small creations especially, are always loaded of humor, sometimes a little acerb, with a mere nothing of eroticism.

What is important for an artist, it is that we can identify, from the first look, its work in any country with the world, no matter where it is”.
