Two works from the Pomones series, closely linked to the fertility goddesses Juno the Roman and Isis the Egyptian, will be on show.

"It is Isis, the clay, the earth that receives the imprint, that welcomes, protects and presents what is hidden".

In this group of works, Claudi Casanovas takes a close interest in the polishing technique.

"I come from raw clay to polish terracotta. Layer by layer to achieve brilliance and reveal transparencies. The rounded shape of the works, like totems, like little planets, smooth and shiny like stones by the sea".

Several sculptures from the Jardí de la Lluna series, including Coralines, Verge and Tortuga, will also be on show. will also be on show.

"Unlike the Pomones, here more or less random bas-reliefs, cavities or erosions that can be associated with the effects of the wind, rain or tides on the rocks, emerge on the surfaces".

Claudi Casanovas plays on the opposing registers of the microcosm and the macrocosm, in step with cutting-edge scientific research, both directions seeming limitless and dizzying.
Taking Olot, his country of origin, and the age-old habits of the potter's craft, as our starting point, we find ourselves at the heart of his creation.
